Creating Projects and Folders

Creating a project on SpecifiedBy helps you stay organised.

To create a project click on the folder icon on the top right of your screen and select ‘create project’. When directed to the next page select ‘create project’ on the right side of the page. This process is shown below.

You will now be presented with a form to create your project. The information you put into this form will help you keep your projects organised. You are required to at the minimum give your project a title.

The following is an example of a project we have created for the Murphy family’s extension.

Within your project, you can create folders. These folders help keep each are of the project organised. For example, you may want to have a folder for each room within your project.

The following is an example of a folder for flooring we have created within the Murphy family’s extension project.

Now you have created a folder for your project you will want to fill it with the products you are using. To do this you can use the [link] search[/link ] or [link] advanced search [/link]. When you find a product you wish to add to your folder, click ‘save’ or ‘save to project’ when on the [link] product page [/link].

An example of a search for flooring products to add to the flooring folder for the Murphy family’s extension project is shown below.
